Starting from "Zero" in the UK
In 1983, Samuel Groves + Co. Ltd, a British manufacturer of deep drawn aluminium and stainless steel items and one of the oldest manufacturing companies in Birmingham England, approached ZERO Corporation hoping to manufacture under license the ZERO range of products for the European market. ZERO Corporation liked the company so much that instead of entering into a licensing agreement, ZERO bought Samuel Groves + Co.
By 1990, European distribution was reorganized and some products redesigned allowing ZERO to adapt its UK division to the unique needs and expectations of European customers. Now, in addition to distributing products made by ZERO in the USA, ZERO Cases (UK) Ltd. produces a wide range of deep drawn aluminum cases and multiple non-case applications specifically designed for the demands of the European market.
