ZERO Manufacturing is a global manufacturer and supplier of protective cases and enclosures. Since our inception in 1952, ZERO has grown from a small Southern California metal shop to a 300,000-square-foot production facility in North Salt Lake, Utah. ZERO also possesses numerous military manufacturing certifications, and we can provide certificates for compliance with FCC, CE, RoHS, and MFI standards. Aluminum Laser Cutting

Though laser cutting reflective materials such as aluminum can be challenging, successful laser cutting can bypass many tooling processes and significantly lower project costs. ZERO relies on our advanced five-axis laser cutting equipment to control costs on prototypes and short production runs.

Deep Drawing

ZERO has developed a proprietary deep drawing process that we refer to as the “ZERO Method.” Deep drawing accounts for most of our aluminum fabrication activities. Deep-drawn aluminum parts offer benefits such as:

  • Excellent stress, tear, and crack resistance

Inspection

Quality is a core competency at ZERO Manufacturing, and we carefully inspect each production run to ensure that the final result will meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. We use our Helmel Checkmaster Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), spectrometers, and various other solutions to verify quality and tolerances in accordance with our ISO 9001:2015- and AS9100D-certified quality management system.

Rotational Plastic Molding

ZERO produces plastic cases and enclosures using rotational molding. Rotationally molded polyethylene plastic results in durable shells that can handle the rigors of rough handling and the challenging conditions of harsh environments.
